About Turo
The automotive world has historically kept a sharp focus on men, but these days, it’s women who hold the most power and influence when it comes to purchasing decisions.
In fact, in a couple of recent surveys of the general female population and, more specifically, women who use Turo, we found that women are not only well-versed in car culture, but also relish being in the fast lane.
So with women’s blossoming influence in the automotive and travel sectors, are driving and cars still just for the boys?

In late February, the Turo team invited some lovely ladies from the Capsule and Cabana fashion and lifestyle tradeshow to a swanky midtown Manhattan meetup.
Powerful women of all stripes — from fashionista entrepreneurs to sports agents to IT managers and retirees — told all in our confessional booth.
After chatting cars and gender stereotypes for a few minutes with each lady boss, a few trends were clear:

Mia is a CMF (color, material, finish) Designer for the slick, design-focused e-vehicle startup, Faraday Future. She studied Product Design at Art Center College of Design, and was guided into the auto world by an internship at Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles in Michigan. As she supported design on the well-loved Jeep, RAM, and Chrysler brands, Mia got an inside look at automotive CMF design, and decided she was all in.
Currently, she and her design team are hard at work finishing development on their next highly-anticipated, soon-to-debut e-vehicle. As a Los Angeles native, Mia knows all of the shortcuts for getting quickly around town, and continues to master the art of baller parallel parking.
