*The SK8 is not permitted on open water rinks including frozen ponds or lakes. Backyard rinks only. Upon booking, the host will reach out with safety checks to ensure booking eligibility. A liability waiver will also be sent to guests ahead of booking.
Terms and conditions
- Turo will only honour bookings for the Turo-branded Porta-Ice machine (“SK8”) if the guest meets the following requirements:
- You must be 23 or older to book a trip with the SK8.
- You must have a valid driver’s licence which will be verified at check-in.
- The guest who booked the trip must be present at pick up and hand off of the SK8.
- Only the guest who booked the trip is allowed to operate the SK8. Do not allow anyone else to operate the SK8.
- The guest is financially responsible for anything that happens during the trip. That includes any incidents, damage, or violations.
- You must sign the waiver and release of liability at check-in to acknowledge you understand and agree to abide by them.

The Turo SK8 is available to book in Montreal now through March 25th for four-hour periods at a time for CA$29 + fees — a tribute to Poulin’s jersey.
For the love of the game
Each time the SK8 is booked, Turo will donate and match all proceeds to KidSport, a charity that supports low-income students by paying their sports program registration fees.
